Your sneakers must be 100% FLAT on the bottom so we can bond Groove Soles on air-tight. They must also have super comfortable insoles in order to feel amazing with Groove Soles. If you have shoes that you're not sure about, just email us a link to the shoes and we will let you know if we can make them groove.

GREAT SHOES FOR GROOVE SOLES (see visual guide below)

  • Supra Skytop* skate shoes

  • Supra Belmont* skate shoes

  • Converse John Varvatos

  • Adidas skate shoes with ADV (advanced cushioning)

  • Nike SB skate shoes with Lunarlon insoles

  • Converse CONS skate shoes with Lunarlon insoles

  • The new Converse Chuck II's with Lunarlon insoles

  • In general, skateboarding shoes with premium cushioning are best because skate shoes are built for lateral side-to-side motions.

  • If you can afford luxury sneakers such as Gucci, many of those have amazing cushioning as well

*  most Supras are good for Groove Soles, but Skytops & Belmonts have the most premium cushioned insoles.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT sneakers without well-cushioned insoles because it's a waste of your money & our time. Cheap sneakers + Groove Soles will hurt your feet. You can already slide in uncomfortable $600 dress shoes with Italian leather soles like ours, so our revolution is sneaker COMFORT + smooth soles. It feels SO GOOD on comfortable shoes like Supra Skytops, but it feels bad on basic sneakers. I actually hated the very first prototype I ever made with $40 Vans because it was uncomfortable, so then I added Dr. Scholls' insoles, but that made the shoes fit too tight. Then I upgraded to the more comfortable $65 Vans Chukkas and it felt awesome. Don't skimp. Get great shoes for Groove Soles so your body & soul feel great groovin' in them!  -  Rob Corbett, founder
